Using Tret since 2 years but still have blackheads

How can I get rid of blackheads?

I’ve been on tretinoin for almost a year now and my acne has significantly improved. The only issue I had was an enormous amount of blackheads and a few closed comedones on my cheeks, nose, and chin. I tried every recommendation I saw from BHA/AHA peels, to salicylic acid cleaning washes, yet they remained and I damaged my moisture barrier every. single. time… even with loads of moisturizer. Just last week I saw a comment on a post from someone with the same issue saying that they gently rub their face with a microfiber cloth in the AM and it helps the skin shed the outer layer when it’s stubborn and can’t quite do it on its own. I started doing this last week and they are almost gone. If you are struggling with these issues, I suggest trying this. It may seem straight forward, but somehow I only recently came across this method.
