Using Tretinoin at 0.0.5 or 0.025?!?!!?! (SKIN MAXXERS HELP)

Fellow skin maxxers, I’d like to know if going above 0.025% tretinoin is worth it

I was trying 0.05% but my face started swelling and getting red giving me a bloated look and burning my face.

Should I apply the 0.05% every other day or every 3 days and try to make it every night little by little or should I continue with 0.025% nightly and not bother increasing my dosage

I currently use 0.025% once a week (the stronger one gave me too much light sensitivity), usually I apply it saturday evening - together with exfoliating - then on sunday I’m usually at home / indoors doing chores so the increase in sunlight sensitivity doesn’t bother me

For the rest of the days of the week I’m on melanotan2

Buffer. Basically, moisturise with a basic moisturiser (nothing too heavy), wait 15-20 minutes, and then apply tret evenly. It helps with irritation a lot.

i will use 0,025 because only 0,025 and 0,5 are availible and 0,5 might be to strong for first time
