@Jerryterry129 's threads have been living rent free in my head
All studies Ive read show sun exposure decreases collagen but increases elastin
Is the sun really that bad for ageing

Sounds like you need balance.

But my question is;

Do you have to take UV rays from the face?

Like what happens if i take from arms, hands and maybe neck?

Will elastin still increase?

The sun negatively affects any ethnic's SMV.

Taking MT2 if you're white seems fine.

Always wear sunscreen when outside.

You can increase elastin production in the body by injecting fibroblast growth factor, intradermally in the spot you want. You won't going to be having significant effects since only babies and children have accelerated production of elastin in the body. Just a heads up

Your elastin production is also subjected to your genes, specifically FGFR gene, if you google crouzon syndrome patients or those with manletism, they had polymorphism of this gene. The best way to know if you have shitty elastin production is to test for FGFR gene alleles

interesting, you're talking about bFGF, right?

I've seen studies about how injecting it subq in skin might offer a few benefits for dermal anti-aging and rejuvenation.

Seemd like kind of a cutting-edge treatment, do you know whether it's possible to get bFGF in powder form anywhere?

Thanks man.

No one has actually answered my question
But I have concluded that the elastin increase experienced by people who are exposed to the sun and by smokers is not identical to a young person's elastin and does not provide interesting aesthetics benefits
