So obviously he doesn't look AS young, but he looks pretty damn young. I'd say you wouldn't be able to tell his real age if it wasn't publicly known.

most college guys i see now adays look like the same age.

it's not because he looks young, but because most actors are in their late twenties or 30s when they start making a career. film is a long process, so obviously when you're making a biopic you have to choose someone whose never been seen acting (which could be box office failure) or choose an older actor who is already known.

Not to mention that as long as it was shot on film in the last century and not digital, they could frauded more with make-up and lighting.

No you can tell when someone has makeup on, look at the under eye lines. He looked good in his early 30s and you can see with earlier movies he looked younger then his age. Top gun etc.

I dont think the cameras they have now are any better either tbh, the cameras they had back then were pretty good.

And Ive seen a lot of newer shows where the 30 year old actors play 23 year olds
