I have come to a realization that Valentine's day is actually a pretty oppressive holiday. I think it should be viewed as the same way as Columbus Day is viewed. An outdated and inaccurate tradition that has been forcefully shoved down our throats generation after generation. It is said that $20 billion dollars is "spent" (wasted) each year during Valentine's Day and personally I've just had enough! There should be quotas on Valentine's Day candy and redistributed sexual partners. More of my thoughts below:
