I mean it just depends on the ingredients. I use normal vaseline on my lips too but I recommend using something more tailored towards lip care so you don't digest more toxic chemicals than you need.
Also, something flavored is so much more enjoyable since you don't want to taste just straight ass or petroleum when taking care of your lips lol

It depends on the flavor you use tbh. I recommend getting the three pack of mini Vaseline Lip Therapy where one is cocoa butter, creme brulee, and rosy lips. The rosy lips one taste like good flowers and makes your lips sort of a vibrant rose pink. They all make your lips look hydrated and have some shine to it. Small enough to carry in your pocket too. Extremely convenient I am telling you.
