My skin gets reddish/pink during winter, and just becomes darker during summer. Why do you think it's vasodilation? It doesn't make much sense. Vasodilation would at most make you more red, but this is not bad.
Are you using SPF50 with long spectrum UVA protection? Re applying every few hours if UV index is extremely high or if you get wet/sweat? Do you avoid the sun?
If you are not doing that, then you are probably just tanning even if you think you aren't.
Idk what ethnicity you are, but if you are prone to getting dark skin quick, you probably don't need much exposure to the sun to get dark, and that tiny amount of exposure that is going through since your current routine is failing is making you darker.
This should be the solution, no other answer.
You have to realize that the UV index during the summer is 5-10 times greater (in most parts of the world) than during winter. My skin gets reddish/pink during winter, and just becomes darker during summer.
Usually if I go out to do some sports in the sun (about 2 times per week) and get tanned during winter (which I don’t go out at all after), I get my skin tone back within 1, 2 days or so, but not during summer, it stays the same during the whole season. Which is why I think it may be linked to vasodilation.
But appreciate the help
Aight appreciate itYou have to realize that the UV index during the summer is 5-10 times greater (in most parts of the world) than during winter.
If you are capable of getting tan in the winter, you are definitely just maintaining the tan with even a few minutes of exposure during the summer.
You have to SPFmax, your skin is just prone to it.
