I should do deadlifts again though. I was always doing it, solely, with my back.
think of deadlift as a variation on the leg press, goal isn't to lift the bar from the floor, it's to push the floor away from the bar.

I want strong legs but I don't want big legs, deadlifts are great for the posterior chain but don't hypertrophy the quads.

My form for deadlift was never good, so, I just went for the typical lift, using only my back. Although I should relearn it, going for a proper form. I might reintroduce deadlift soonish.

deadlift fotm is thr most basic shit jfl , just flex ur lower back , use ur lats to keep the weight by you, then pull

yeah just do bodyweight squats or sprints every once in a while to keep basic functional strength
doing all the barbell shit like squat and deadlifts is a meme since if your form isn’t perfect you’ll end up injuring yourself
