Could this potentially be used together with surgeries that would scar?

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-023-39129-6 - study on it

- Anecdote on it

Only studies done on rats so far, does anyone have a source for this / know anything more about it?

its basically cope ngl, also this can probably be used to prevent scars if you get something like hairline lowering or a lip lift

its a semi fix for hairlosscels as it seems

possible way to get unlimited hair transplants as hair regrows in the scarred area when verteporfin is applied

Thoughts on ablative vs non ablative

No idea, people on r/acnescars usually say laser improvement is just micro swelling. It's quite the depressing subreddit ngl

Then they were prolly getting non ablative since ablative brings about great results. I think ppl also have an unfounded fear of fat pad loss there when getting laser

lasers are a scam by the medical industry to keep you coming back for treatments

there have been procedures since the 60s that have been able to remove scars completely in one session but they wanted more money
Yea it’s called ablative. The non ablative ones require multiple sessions
