very noticeable asymmetry, especially in jaws and lips. why does this happen, and how i can i fix and retain it?

*noticed* this issue with my lips and outer U about 1-1.5 years ago, i started mewing, to be frank, i was quite inconsistent at the start, but i've been taking it up seriously now. this is byfar the biggest flaw with my face.

i am currently going through orthodontic treatment for crooked teeth, currently have braces on my upper teeth, 1 double teeth (premolar) extracted.
my lower teeth are very crooked, and my orthodontist has said he will be installing braces on there soon.

my primary question is, is this a jaw asymmetry issue, or a crooked teeth, or maybe both?
and will braces fix this?

my upper lips are inconsistent as well, but i suspect it is due to uneven masseters.

looking for other opinions on this, any constructive critique is appreciated.

Braces has the tendency to make your lips look more lush, by virtue of that it makes your lips move forward.
