Or the narcissism of women to expect a relationship to be a fairytale adventure where she is the star. Or perhaps the fact that women are seeking relationships with men who are of higher value than themselves and therefore prioritize her less and treat her worse. On the flip side men will grovel at the feet of a woman who is making ever increasing demands of him until he just doesn’t care anymore and the relationship falls apart. Most men I know who are in relationships are normal guys and their girlfriends cannot be described as significantly more emotionally mature than themselves.
