Nah I don't think so. A direct confrontation would happen but anti national groups in Pakistan are 100% going to exploit this and try to destabilize the country.

Pakistan internally isn't stable, it's an hybrid state that runs on what the military wants and the military generals are quite incompetent, are only good at killing civilians and cracking down on protests. It's also at risk of losing all its major cities if it doesn't pay its loans which in war will most likely happen, corruption is also super high.

Indian Army isnt but the babus who are responsible for the defense tech acquisition are very much corrupt.
