Videogames are better than ever, people are blinded by nostalgia

In the past few years I've played a lot of old games for the first time and many of them don't hold up, new games for the most part are better.

Ocarina of Time lives up to the hype, Super Mario 64 is shit, anyone that says otherwise is delusional. The people who say modern games suck only really know about Triple A games where culture war bs is being shoved down their throat, unlike the other 90% of games today.

Triple A ones, I've never played any woke games. Unless you broaden the definition to include things like GOW Ragnarok, which I've seen people try to do

Depends on how old.

2000-2010 in my opinion have the best games ever made. Older than that they are wayy too archaic for me bar some exceptions.

Current year games tho are absolute irrefutable slop and garbage(without some indies that eventually troon out as well).
