I am not a marxist

Iirc marx specifically stated that an authoritarian government was required for the adoption of socialism and transformation to communism

Except you basically just created another elite class in the form of bureaucrats and party members that’s no different from the executives or lords you replaced.

have u ever read marx?

a proletarian dictatorship doesnt always need to be authoritarian, thats a marxist-leninist pov

democratic socialists, trotsykites and marxist-libertarians would disagree heavily with that

but a tldr of marxist dialectics is that its a linear progressions from feudalism to capitalism to socialism to utopian communism

and within all (but communism) there is an opressing class and an opressed class

there is still an opressing class under socialism like the state governance

but they act in the interests of the people

ofc this is all in theory and quite dogmatic which is why regression often happens to leftist countries - ie USSR post Stalin

I would recognmend u read 'new left' authors from the 1960s onwards like EJ Thompson- they arent as traditionally marxist and their works are actually readable
