some people (clavicular) negative 10grams vitamin b5 even tho the daily intake is 5mg and most supplement companies give a 500mg dose. Why do people do this? It seems unnecessary. Water soluble vitamins are supposed to be mostly safe but if you megadose to such an extreme extent there can be side effects
“Toxicity is likely at 10,000 mg daily and causes upset stomach and diarrhea as most common symptoms”

Also ChatGPT says it too much b5 intake can inhibit absorption of other B vitamins. Not sure if that’s true or not

Wtf

Also allegedly it can cause hair loss since megadosing it can lead to lower absorption of other b vitamins (such as b7), which are import ant for your hair.

As such I plan to take a b-complex with 1000% dv b7 in addition to my b5.

@clavicular do you take b7
