I'm looking for someone who can answer if b5 can actually reduce sebum production, at how much mg/day, and estimated maximum amounts of intake. Sources I've seen have all said dosages like 10g/day can lead to problems, but cause is unknown. Does anyone know roughly when these side effects kick in, and when it starts managing sebum?
 
Toxicity is mentioned to be at 10g a day in https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK563233/#article-124126.r18, but it references research from 98, so I'm unsure of its credibility

I just got b5 in the mail today. I totally forgot I ordered it… or did I never ordered it but they still sent it… idk but what does it really do? And like when should you take it?

from what I've heard (and I really do not know anything behind what I'm going to say) you're meant to have it in the morning and start off at 1g a day. over weeks or months you slowly move up to 5/g a day. It was recommended to talk to a doctor about it, and since i probably got some info wrong or im giving you unhealthy doses, you should 100% talk to a doctor before acting on anything ive said
