According to scientific experts at lookism, megadosing vitamin c (1-3gm/day) decreases facial bloat, and improves skin.

Is their any evidence to it or is it just cope?

Vitamin C in general is good for your skin. The impact on facial bloat probably isn't that significant. It's the combination of drinking water, avoiding sodium and getting lots of potassium that works best for bloat.

I do take 2g a day just because well, why not really? It probably doesn't do anything much, but if it does then great, and it's not like it costs a lot.

The most common digestive symptoms of excessive vitamin C intake are diarrhea and nausea.

Probably a result from the water loss from those symptoms
