vitamin C serum on eyelashes

I don’t know if it because I am growing but I had some leftover vitamin C serum from
Using it on my undereyes and for some reason I put it on my eyelashes for about a few days, during these few days I saw an increase in eyelash growth; don’t know if this is just random but I wonder if anyone else tried this.
