Vitamin D is an absolute game changer for me. You can not lose weight efficiently when you're low in vitamin D. I don't have to watch my diet when my levels are good and stay lean effortlessly. When I'm low, I have to eat like ≤1,500 kcal per day to stay lean. When my levels are higher, I can easily eat an additional 1,000 kcal and am still leaner compared to when I'm deficient and restricting calories. The effects vitamin D status has on body composition and metabolism are insane. Especially in combination with intermittent fasting/intuitive dieting.
You should always get a blood test before using vitamin D supplements to calculate the optimal dosage. Perhaps you don't even need it in the first place.
i didnt even know about the staying lean and diet effects it has, ive just heard k2 and d3 thrown around for growing bone massVitamin D is an absolute game changer for me. Vitamin D is needed for bone health and calcium metabolism but it has countless of other functions in your body, from immunoregulation to neurotransmitters, many of which haven't even been fully understood yet.i didnt even know about the staying lean and diet effects it has, ive just heard k2 and d3 thrown around for growing bone mass
