My voice has medium-low pitch and shallow depth. Sounds like shit. I recently noticed how high my Adam’s apple is. You can’t see it because it’s small and is positioned above my chin.

Maybe. Take this with a grain of salt since I’m no expert: when your vocal tract is shallower, a bigger proportion of the total resonance occurs in your nasal cavity.

Example of deep vocal tract:

• 30% throat resonance
• 40% mouth resonance
• 30% nose resonance

Example of shallow vocal tract:

• 20% throat resonance
• 45% mouth resonance
• 35% nose resonance

I see now, thanks for the explanation. Perhaps my nasal speech is caused by maxillary downgrowth, since it is said that nasal speech is caused by blockage inside the nose, which downgrown bones could be the cause to that.

There are four groups of sinuses in the face: frontal sinus, sphenoid sinuses, ethmoid sinuses, and maxillary sinuses. The mastoid cells are what cause you to hear your own voice differently to how others hear it. When you made the claim that "your voice is your maxilla", because of sinuses and the shapes of them and the shape and size of the bones enveloping them, you're probably right.

You know when you have a cold and have just blown your nose, your throat becomes clear, but you still sound under the weather. That's because your sinuses are filled with mucus and that produces a minor yet noticeable change in your voice. I wrote timbre because the way to a deeper voice is to talk from your gut and have a large voice box.

Besides that fact and the fact that the thickness of the cartilage encasing your voice box relates to the deepness, this is speculation.

I think the deepness is determined by a few factors, which are:

1. Thickness of the vocal cords
2. Thickness and length of the cartilage surrounding those
3. How air is pushed through the throat, so diaphragm control and capacity of lungs

I get confidence by knowing these factors are all changed by male puberty, whereas women don't experience this type of growth, so their voice doesn't change as much as men's voices do.

The thickness of the cartilage absorbs some of the higher frequencies. The thickness of the vocal cords means that they weight more, and are less flexible. The weight limits the rate which they can vibrate at, that is the weight changes the vocal range

And as because we sound marginally different with a cold than without, some part of the uniqueness of your voice is because of the shape of your skull, but it really is marginal.

Basically, voicepill is a blackpill because very little can be done to improve it. The only way would be changing how you talk, so you push air out of your lungs less forcefully, causing lighter vocal folds to vibrate slower and produce a lower pitch, which I what I meant by talk from your gut. But this doesn't change your vocal range.
