Volufiline is a patented ingredient (Sederma) made from Anemarrhena asphodeloides extract, containing sarsasapogenin. Claim is it stimulates local fat storage — basically a “topical filler” for hollow areas.
Why it matters for under-eyes: tear trough hollowing is mostly volume loss, so this targets that directly. Some also link under-eye hollowing to lash serums containing prostaglandin analogs, worth checking if that applies to you.
Products: The Ordinary’s Volufiline 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% is the easiest entry point. Pure Sederma oil also exists for mixing into your own moisturizer.
