Meanwhile reasonable moderates abstract themselves from political life (or at least the political conversation - some of them still vote discreetly) because they just want to be left alone and at peace away from the mentally ill cancel culture / woke mobs.

But things are starting to affect the normal everyday citizen (trans men in female sports, rising lawlessness, unfair diversity quotas, ridiculous shit being taught in schools to children, uncontrolled immigration in some countries etc) to the extent it will become unbearable and he will have to return to political life (in political discussions and in the voting booth). Or at least I hope.
