So we know the job has to have 4 Criteria

- No Women Work In That Sector
- Little Personal Coworker/Customer Interaction
- High Paying & High Status
- Good For Entrepreneurship $

FACE already pointed out STEM is best but even STEM is full of women nowadays and not every STEM field is ideal,
biology, chemistry and medicine are Female dominated, and most maths highschool teachers are also female

Here are the Top 3 imo

- Applied Computer Science
- Applied Mathematics
- Applied Physics

Other honorable mentions: Trade jobs in
- (Car) Mechanic & Electrician
- HVAC Technician
- Metal Working & Welding
- Construction & Carpenters
- Firefighter

These have lower pay and status than the degrees above though and are cucked ( especially firefighter where you risk your life for others) or construction where you destroy your body for low pay

Biomedical, aerospace, software, and electrical engineers rank even higher than the ones you listed. Computer science will get you a job as a programmer which is still decent but software engineers make more than programmers. The average person doesn't have the IQ that is needed to be a software engineer though, which is why the pay is so good and the demand is so high.

Edit: Any Type of Writer/Copywriter/Technical Writer/Designer/Videograph (~ 20-50k$ / year) is also good because you normally work on Fiverr/Upwork without real interaction (Non english pays better)

Also typical jobs for :

Applied Physics :
- R&D Labs : Very little real (female) Interaction ~ 90k-140k$ / year
- Patent/IP Attorney : More Interaction but still quite isolated ~ 120k$ / year

Applied Computer Science:
- Software Engineering ~ 80k$/ year
- Data Science ~ 90k$ / year
- AI & Blockchain ~ 200k$ / year

Applied Mathematics:
- Actuary ~ 110k$/ year
- Quant HF ~ 200k$/ year
- any quantitative job really

I like compsci, but math mogs. Just sit in your professorial lab alone for 8 hours a day doing complex high iq problems. In compsci, you gotta talk to niggas and their are women.

Maybe it's different in the USA, I don't know but here in Montreal, you have to go to a special school for engineers to become a software engineer and you can't just take a general degree to get that job, you need a software engineering bachelor's degree. Software engineers make more than programmers because they are more in demand, and there are way more programmers than software engineers, especially today in 2020.

Biomedical sounds too female and specific and is bad for entrepreneurship
Aero is too specific and bad for entrepreneurship

Software I mentioned under Computer Science

Electrical Engineering is legit but i already mentioned it under Trades (Electrician) which is probably more worth it

I'm from Canada and work downtown Toronto. There's no difference between a university level computer science degree and a university level software engineering degree in job prospect or the sorts of jobs graduates get. If you're referring to people who went to college for programming rather than university then sure, they won't be landing any of the high paying jobs unless they are exceptional programmers.

Nobody who does software engineering gets their PEng is that's what you're getting at.

Maybe those who specialize in it just get paid more then, because the program from ÉTS and Polytechnique de Montréal are 4 years long while the computer science program from Université de Montréal is only 3 years long. Or maybe what is known as software engineering in english isn't the same, maybe what I am talking about would be called "software developer" in english, I know that someone who works in cybersecurity can call themselves an engineer even though they really are just an analyst or technician because real cybersecurity engineers don't exist. The difference in Québec is that the name "engineer" is protected, to become one you have to study and get certified by the official organization of engineers. And in this case, yes true engineers do get paid more than those who major in computer science, but computer science is still a great field, just not the best one.

Dude, NOBODY who works in software in ontario/quebec gets their PEng for the protected title, it is a waste of time and money. The only people who get their PEng in the tech industry are those who are working with matters related to public safety (health/defence/army) and they only get it so they can sign off on documents. There is no differentiation between what job a cs grad or software engineering grad can get, they literally get the same jobs. Engineers in every other field get paymogged so hard by cs/s.eng that many of them end up working in tech or transitioning to it anyway. There is no such thing as a "true engineer" when it comes to software. You are delving into semantics you wouldn't delve into if you had any work experience. This info is literally a google away jfl. Not even that, you could literally just look through people in companies in any city in Canada on linkedin and see that everyone calls themselves software engineer regardless of whether they have a cs degree or software engineering degree, doing the same exact job, being paid exactly the same. It's literally the same shit.

I would choose "none of the above" if that were an option. If I could turn the clock back 19 years, I would study for either a real estate license or a sub-mortgage brokering license. I wouldn't even bother with uni. Super expensive and employers really only care about work experience and specialisation within your field. Heh, if I could turn the clock back and keep all my current knowledge, I'd look handsome and tall lol

It's up to you. It's what I would've done over a degree. I would've gone into commercial real estate. Makes tons of money though I'm not sure now in our post-covid world. You could go into other fields - get a notary cert or something. There are plenty of options where the resulting job pays more than a STEM degree. Don't forget that even if you go STEM, your grades had better be high to get a good paying offer and career growth plan. Or, get a chemistry degree or something. I forget what it's called but a friend of mine went into that and she ended up working for a firm that tests for semen on objects clients bring in. Lots of people want to know if their spouse is cheating I guess lol My point is most people won't make millions or even hundreds of thousands with a degree. But you have a better chance at doing that without a degree. Like fixing cars - eventually opening your own shop. Or plumbing or electrician work. It's blue collar... but it can pay really well.

No plumber or electrician will earn as much as R&D Lab Managers,Patent Attorneys,Software/Data Engineers or Actuaries/Quants, you need a degree for every single one of these

As a computer science major this thread makes me feel hopeful. Who knows, though, with so many foids on female-only STEM programs nowadays I'll probably have to deal with a good number of them by the time I'm out in the job market. Feelsrealbadman.

I’d say academics / research that requires little interpersonal interaction and grants you huge amount of free time. Forget about it if you’re low IQ tho.

I'd say mathematics as Quants are needed everywhere.

That depends on a) school debt, b) time to gain experience and move up high enough on the ladder to get that money, and c) lost opportunity cost. You also need the grades to be hired into such positions. You're competing with so many people for so few positions. By the time you make your first million, the plumber with three trucks and 8 employees would've made several million by now. Don't look down on the trades - they really can make a lot. I've seen the balance sheets of some of those guys who kept at it - they've been making their millions for 10 years while people like us slave away for someone else to make the millions. If you can cut it in those other jobs, then go for it. But if you don't make the cut, there are other ways to make a lot of money.

a) in most EU countries uni is free
b) legit but hardcore moneymaxxing is essential anyway
c) not much opportunity costs, in the beginning of a trade you earn practically zero ( at least in EU), only after you done your exams you are allowed to have employees
A top Mathematics Student earns alot more than a top plumber even as a entrepreneur

quantitative trading is great. you can do applied maths, physics or cs, but maths and cs are best choices.
at a prop shop, you are responsible for everything you do, and a lot of the work is independent, but there is obviously some collaborative, and you get a cut of the earnings you bring, so a lot of people can make millions at a young age if they are great at the job. and obviously, if you are really good, you can end up just starting your own fund and making a heck ton of money.
