The virtual signal/narrative employees examine new users. If the user is with the narrative, checked. But if he/she is against it, they alienate the followers and readers against the person (BLOCKED, ignored, welcome to my no-no list, etc) while degrading and suggesting a mental illness or ignorance.
I'm surprised virtual signal/narrative managers aren't keeping you all in check. Those people's income would piss taxpayers off. They work from home. Their job is to make sure everyone stays with the narrative. For example, people can dislike their rival political party but they can't despise both! They can discuss Russia's war with Ukraine, but they can't suggest things are not what they appear to be. Such as, China is a threat to the world, including Russia! So why would they waste valuable resources on Ukraine knowing before 2020, the USA and Russia were besties? Covid-19 caused the divide on paper. Russia was angered at China. We were angered at China. Ukraine was angered at China. Yet Russia invades Ukraine? Does that make any sense? Wakey-wakey.
