I had a job in toys/cd section of a supermarket when i was younger. Was super chill gig, worked late shift when it was closing and could just wear headphones and listen to music as i sorted out the toys and made em look neat.

But the warehouse / frozen food guys in the same store doing hard labour.

They basically put all the girls and people with good english skills on clothing and toys and easy departments and all the freshies on frozen food and heavy lifting shit.

I did warehouse work, I had to wear these awful shoes and hang clothes on this line, I was being timed and monitored too, so I couldn’t take it slow and steady. I hated it all, I had 0 interaction with people and was mindlessly putting shit on a rack. I fucking hated it and it made me so stressed
