Having to go through all this shit is brutal especially if you have one of the longer decomp periods like a year and a half or more. Just wanna get this shit over with at this point. The worst part is the decomp gets worse and worse the further you go

Worst part is bimax is a bit of a meme procedure unless you're super deformed. Won't even get to look in the mirror and see the changes, from the front you will look exactly the same in most cases and that's all that matters. Hell if anything the nose changes may make your front descend. In fact when you consider it there are probably people out there who ended up with bimax being a net negative due to not enough improvements from the side + big enough nose descension from the front. I'm getting more and more confident every day that people will see me and treat me the exact same way before and after bimax.

Almost 6 months into decomp and my face hasnt changed noticeably at all, My teeth have moved plenty though, I kind of have a dental underbite too now. I'm getting lefort 1.

If you don't have failos with ratios from the front then yeah DJS might not do much for the frontal profile, but for someone with a chin that looks visually too big (classic class 3 look), lefort 1 and or DJS can be great for the front, because it helps to visually balance out your ratios.

Lol I’m doing surgery first and don’t need decomp. Trimax for OSA, and my surgeon said he was going to submit my sleep results for pre authorization, and I knew that it was going to be denied if he didn’t include the sleep doctors notes saying I tried CPAP for 30 days. Got fucking denied, so now I sent him that, and he is appealing ( I know it’s gonna be approved based on my policy, but holy shit ) very annoying, also the insurance company couldn’t reach out to him because they had the wrong phone number?? What the fuck? If I weren’t so god damn persistent calling every 4 days I wouldn’t be able to get the surgery. People who are actually struggling are fucked unless rich

Even getting to the point where you actually get your decomp started takes a good while especially if you have to go through healthcare/insurance.

I actually got some pretty good news earlier. I might be a good candidate for surgery first method or my decomp phase would be pretty short atleast. Fingers crossed this is actually the case.
