There are some great books on this topic like:
>A field guide on lucid dreaming
>Lucid dreaming: gateway to inner self by Robert waggoner
>Exploring the world of lucid dreaming by Stephen Laberge (first guy to study this phenomenon using science)
Don't try to watch jewtube vids on it and don't rely on online guides. These books will do a great job at teaching you how to do it.
Some perks of lucid dreaming:
>being able to do anything you wanted to do irl, your imagination is the only limit (but IK that you're just gonna fuck models JFL, which is fine too btw)
>have a deeper understanding of yourself by exploring suppressed parts of your mind
