If you’re getting at the whole “we need the bad to appreciate the good” I don’t really buy into that. To some extent yes but mostly life is just coping with pain that was never necessary or fair or justified (in an ontologically pessimistic birds eye view, imo)

As a brokie with no job I wake up whenever I want only to lie in bed for 2 hrs, rage at all my accolades that have gotten me nothing and nowhere rage at th most likely possibility of dying alone cos UK, rage at the fact I was born In the UK, rage at the fact I wasn’t born as a warlord back in the good old days rage at the fact that the game of Life is rigged, raged at the fact I have to clean cat shit when I get out of bed and feed the little devils because they are the only thing preventing vermin in my house.
