I had to get my ears checked because I lost hearing in one side, turned out it was slightly impacted wax so got it fixed in 5 minutes (if that) and there was only a one minute wait. Cost £70 for a 5 min procedure (I guess it must be a blanket cost), but getting it done on the NHS and I'd probably be in my 40s by the time I got an appointment.
