Want braces to fix my jaw but nervous that it’ll only straighten teeth and worsen my face

I want to go to an orthodontist, not only do i have a deep overbite, i have a cross bite and overcrowded teeth. It makes my face look short because my chin is basically fucking recessed. I’ve done some research online and apparently allot of people have had braces that straighten their teeth and fuck up their face. Any advice?

just get braces. after i got my braces taken off they saw maxillary growth because of the rubber bands they made me wear. it doesnt fuck up your face

def look into ortho if it's a bite issue. it won't recess you and deep overbites look aspie af so at the very least will fix appeal
