(TLDR at the bottom)
16 hours ago I drank a lot of soda which is carbonated and then I laid down in bed on my right side to continue my 23 hour a day LDAR cycle...
As I was laying down watching a YouTube video on my phone, I felt acid come up my throat so I sat up and swallowed it and then my throat burnt a little. This has happened to everyone at least once after eating too much but this is the part where it's over for me...
FOR THE PAST 16 HOURS I HAVE FELT ACID COMING UP MY THROAT AND SLIGHTLY BURNING IT.
IM NOT JOKING, 16 HOURS STRAIGHT NON STOP.
"Go to the Doctor??"
I would but Im super deformed looking and I dont want to take my mask off. Yes id rather die than people see my uglyness. Also the doctor cant necessarily even solve the problem other than give me antacids which dont fix the root issue.
Anyway I have been googling my issues for the past 16 hours too and basically my theory is that I drank so much soda that there was no room in my stomach and so much pressure due to the Co2 that it pushed on and "broke" my "lower esophagus sphincter" muscle which is the muscle that prevents stomach acid from going up your esophagus, and so now I have acid constantly coming up my throat and burning my throat.
If left untreated this can lead to cancer in the esophagus due to the constant acid or it can lead to aspiration pneumonia which I believe because when I inhale through my mouth I start coughing cuz I can feel myself inhaling the acid.
These are relevant reddit posts that I found during my googling that prove im not a schizo and this is real.
From reading it takes about 4 months to heal if I follow a strict diet and take certain drugs with scary side effects. Idk if I can do this. Its actually over.
Im currently sitting up in my sofa chair thing that I plan to sleep in forever until the problem is fixed because laying down makes it worse. Hopefully sitting up 24/7 will help heal it but probably not if it somehow is coming up my throat even tho im sitting up.. hello gravity...?
Anyway rip me if this doesnt go away on its own. Im actually really scared.
TLDR: dont lay down on your right side in bed right after you drank a bunch of soda or bad things could happen.
