Nah, now is better because you can do anything you want, whereas then bullying was more common and everyone was more an npc

Bullshit. I was a kid back then, but as far as i remember there were lots of subcultures. Teenagers tried to find their own style.
Now, at least in my city, you can divide teenagers on two, maybe three types of groups. And all of them are a rip offs from tiktok guys and girls.
