Was getting female attention in round nerd glasses, now getting ghosted in modern frames — wtf?”

Not sure if it’s just nostalgia or legit face-harmony, but back when I wore round nerd-style glasses (left in pic), I was getting more female attention, respect, and even some play.

Switched to these modern rectangular frames (right in pic), thinking they'd elevate my look — but it's been radio silence. No compliments, no attraction signals, just “invisible mode.”

I have a triangle face shape (strong jaw, narrower forehead).

Any idea why the older glasses worked better? Do they soften my angles or give a "cute nerd" vibe that chicks dig? Or was it just confidence?

Drop your takes — aesthetics, symmetry, halo effect, whatever.

Photos of both attached for honest feedback. Trying to optimize lookmaxx not fallmaxx.

rectangle glasses are the default option for dudes with bad eyesight who don't give a shit about little details like frames so they're associated with slob nerds/cels

you went from a goofball to an IT incel, never wear those fuckass glasses.
