I will assign letters to their name to maintain anonymity.
Background info:
- K has epilepsy and lives with their insanely abusive father to the point where they get purple eyes from the heavy beatings. Also they are a lightweight when it comes to drinking.
- A is the kindest person in our group and is very friendly with anyone and anything, also they are siblings with M
Me (17) and 9 other friends decided to go out yesterday in hopes of drinking, having some fun, all that jazz. 9 people in total and we had all decided that we were going to stay at E's house before going to the restaurant like we had planned. R and I had arrived an hour early to the restaurant and we called E, K, and M to make sure that we had came to the right place. They confirmed that we did and asked us to come to the house to pregame. We complied and made our way to the house (because their house was a 5 minute walk away) to the site of K piss shit drunk and already unable to walk. K had taken 4 shots of 50% alcohol and was struggling to move and speak properly. We had not thought much of it as it was routine for K to get unbearably drunk and have someone eventually escort them home. M, E, R, and I took a few more shots and waited for a few other people.
While we wait in E and M's house for J and B, K is getting more and more drunk by the second to the point where they are unable to see straight. We had already warned them to not drink anymore and tried to get her to stop. J and B called us and told us that they are waiting outside and everyone exits the house in orderly fashion while K has to be carried out like a wounded soldier by R. We say hello and regroup while K is getting worse by the second and J and B are witnessing the disaster bound to happen. We walk through a park to get to the restaurant and K falls to the ground and lays flat like a human pancake in a crowd full of people. J, R, and A try to pick them up but the dead weight is impossible to lift and they cannot hear, speak or see.
It takes about 12 minutes for K to even move an inch so M, B and I eventually decide to ditch them and reserve our table in the restaurant for two reasons:

It takes about 12 minutes for K to even move an inch so M, B and I eventually decide to ditch them and reserve our table in the restaurant for two reasons:
- K does this all the time and often times just get escorted and sent home so no biggie
- No point in staying back and trying to help when there are other people helping already
M, B and I have already ordered in the restaurant and complain about how K does this too often, needs help, also is very touchy with A and other people in the group regardless of their sobriety. Eventually V arrives and we debrief them about the situation at hand and they agree with our conclusion to stop talking with her, get her sober, etc. After 45 whole minutes, they are still at the park trying to move K 2 inches off the ground. During this time K has managed to vomit their guts out and the puke landed on A's hair and R as well. 20 minutes later, everyone but A comes to the restaurant and talks about what happened and what we should do. (basically the same thing that the 4 of us had originally talked about).
(K has all of their belongings with me because I assumed that they would have lost it regardless)
We all complain about K and their behavior regarding hanging out because they do this so often that we needed people to be their escort 8 times out of 10. (That escort being me most of the time.) 30 minutes of each person talking about their concern, we steal 6 of K's cigarettes for the bs they put us through consistently. (Each cig distributed evenly lol) All the while A has "volunteered" to bring A back to the house so they can rest there and so we can ultimately minimize damage. We finish eating our meals and head back to the house to see what was occurring. We split up into groups of 3 and 2 as we move so little micro discussions are happening in the mean time regarding K. We arrive to the site of screaming, convulsions, foaming at the mouth, whining, vomiting all in the span of 20 minutes.
(A being the goat they are cleaned K up by taking a shower with them to clean up all the vomit.)
Some of us are a little shocked by the site, some of us are trying to find things to do, some are nervous laughing at the scene. K was laying in A's bed half naked from the waist down while vomiting on said bed. We have A holding K's hair so they don't fall or vomit anywhere on anyone, we have a bucket next to K in case of (u guessed it) vomit. B, A and I have decide to leave the room and do something else while everybody tends to K's "needs". Btw, K has been seizing and foaming at the mouth for 50 minutes by now and we were debating whether to call the ambulance or try to tend to their needs at home. We decide to not call the ambulance due to the fear of K's dad getting involved and the genuine fear we had of K getting beat to further disability. I ask A if they are want anything to snack on while trying to help, they say yeah and I get a bag of chips with some sauce in the fridge and bring it to the room filled with everyone.
I walk in to the room with V and M playing the empathy card and calling B, R and I sociopaths for not being more concerned regarding K. I jokingly say to V and M that "Guys start panicking and yelling maybe that will fix the situation". Both of them tell me to "shut the fuck up", I ask them what they want us to do and they said "nothing" and I told them that is exactly what I am doing. I call them fake empaths because they were mocking K with us but all of a sudden turn to angels. All the while, A with the only human decency is helping K to try and get K to recover. (I have thanked A so much to the point, I honestly felt like I was the one vomiting on the bed)
We then debate about who should escort K home, and the "sociopaths" B and I volunteer. (J also came along). In the car and on the way I am basically the spine of K trying to lift them up. Trying to keep K awake, we lighten the mood with a few jokes to try to kickstart the soup of a brain that K has left. It works to an extent where we are able to have a conversation with K long enough to reach the house which they live in. K tells me that they need to go to the bathroom and they need to go with me because they feel the most "secure with me". I go to the bathroom with K and take off their clothes and undergarments, hold their hand as they pee so they dont fall, put the clothes and undergarments back on, clean the spit, foam and other things off of their face, flush, wash their hand while talking so they dont pass out from exhaustion.
Hoping that we arrived sooner than K's father, we open the door to their house and by some miracle he was not there. We say our goodbye's and after a few minutes of staying to ensure that K stays coherent enough to go to bed, we leave.
P,S. I told K the morning after all of the things we did and said and told her to profusely apologize to A.
Could I have handled that better than I did?
