Was I weird during my early childhood?

From ages 4 to 11, I was relentlessly bullied and beaten because I was poor and small. I remember my teachers laughed at me because some kid made a joke about my family being poor when I was 10, it really upset me at the time. My mum was having personal issues at the time, so I kept silent about the bullying - she knew about the bullying from ages 4 to 8, but thought it stopped when I moved schools at age 9. I only really had 1 teacher who was my maths teacher who actually stood up for me and felt like the first competent adult figure in my life. My dad had left us when I was 9, after an argument with my mum, and my mum struggled a lot with it (this was when I was 9) hence I never felt like I could really have any help.

I used to cry myself to sleep pretty often at that age, constantly bullying made me anti-social and I spent a lot of my free time reading books in the library, often non-fiction books about biology, space or somewhere far-away where I'd often imagine myself being.

At age 11 my dad came back after both my parents made up, and life felt like it was going up again. At that age is when I visited bangladesh and was near a lot of wild-life for the 1st time.

There used to be little wall lizards in my house, I'd often capture them and put them in boxes and shake the boxes to see what the lizard would do, I'd chase the lizards and rip their legs and tails off for fun to see what would happen, and would place them in my box of lizards. I remember going to a farm and finding a dead chick and throwin it at trees, to see if I could crack it open. I would also often play pretty "cruel" pranks on some of the "neighbours". Whenever I was in a car, I'd always be confused why my dad never ran the animals over and had even asked him to speed up when we saw birds, but my dad was confused and asked me why. I said it would be fun running them over and he told me that, running them over is bad and it would fuck up the car.

I lived in a big tower complex, and below us were some shanty-tier houses with tin roofs. Every night, I'd fill up a small water bottle and throw it out of the window so it would hit the tin roof and wake up the poor neighbours, I remember seeing the lights turn on, babies screaming and people screaming "CHECK IF THERE IS A THIEF!" in bengali. I found it so funny, it became an obsession of mine to piss these people off. I called in my cousin and brother to join me and they did as well jfl.

I didn't feel bad about it and I still really don't.

But I could not do any of this weird shit today, if I am honest. I'd feel bad waking those guys up, and would think it is pointless. I'd probably still rip the lizard tails from curiosity but that's about it.

Is this normal childhood development? I am pretty normal to this day since I took LSD and deffo am a much nicer person.

My teacher who laughed at me was another curry, and I really ended up hating her. My maths teacher who stood up for me was a white man, I'm not sure he realised how much of an impact he made on my life tbh. A lot of the kids in my class resented me a lot because I was the poor kid but had good grades and was able to understand maths and shit.

My childhood experiences also consist of me being constantly belittled for my looks, not sure if you read the story but when I went bangladesh at age 10, some guy said he wanted to take a pic with me so he'd look lighter skinned (cuz I was darker).

You had a similar childhood to mine. I grew up in a poor Mexican neighborhood where the Mexicans would blast their fucking music everyday at 4AM and get pissed drunk and beat their kids. Some of my neighbors had mental problems as well lol. One kid used to sleep in the dumpster and would drown his pets. Another one would carry a boxcutter with him all the time and try to stab stray cats or the local homeless dude sleeping on the curb. Mind you, we were all kids under 10 yrs of age but that was normal for spics to do like in their countries. I moved out later on once my family get wealthier, but still remember those childhood moments.

I am clinically diagnosed autistic and schizophrenic. I have little empathy towards people and cannot relate to them so I learned to mimic others and create masks to appear more NT, but apparently it doesn't work all the time lol. I would've probably been forced into a gang if I had stayed in that barrio (Hispanic ghetto). I can't maintain friendships, even with other Aspies, and struggle with attracting women or getting into relationships. I have anhedonia so little things give me pleasure in life. Some of my old neighbors grew up to join gangs and some ended up in prison or dead.

There used to be little wall lizards in my house, I'd often capture them and put them in boxes and shake the boxes to see what the lizard would do, I'd chase the lizards and rip their legs and tails off for fun to see what would happen, and would place them in my box of lizards. I remember going to a farm and finding a dead chick and throwin it at trees, to see if I could crack it open. I would also often play pretty "cruel" pranks on some of the "neighbours". Whenever I was in a car, I'd always be confused why my dad never ran the animals over and had even asked him to speed up when we saw birds, but my dad was confused and asked me why. I said it would be fun running them over and he told me that, running them over is bad and it would fuck up the car.

Ok I have read it yep you have autism. I know because this is insult to what I went through except I’m an Ork I love war so I’d alwyas be in fight so don’t think I went 2 weeks without fighting and I’d make sure I always won eventually kids left me alone phsycally as I’d alwyas rage and my rage is uncontrollable (still is now but takes me a lot longer to rage). School teachers made a thing where I’d have one chance if I fought anybody else I’d get kicked out I was always arguing with my mum over this I got in trouble every day alwyas excluded etc.

Despite being slightly bulliedISH girls somehow liked me a lot and let me treat them as I pleased but I was shy AF so sometimes they’d stick up for me. I loved animals and history and space (aspie shit look it up) what you have sounds like aspie ness or ADHD over 4 u
