I heard a lot of opinions on this topic, but the one that i belive is that Jesus was in fact jew, and after him, the jews started being christians. And the ones that didn't belive that Jesus was the messiah, remain as Synagogue of Satan, as it is said in The Bible. But I don't know it for a fact.
