I wore a shirt that said “one day” and it had a photo of a dead body’s outline on the street

This teacher started chatting with me and inviting me to his office to talk about god and recommending me books and stuff. He was actually one of my favorite teachers ever. He showed me books like watership down and stuff. I also showed him one of my short stories (it was about a guy who ran in front of a truck) and he loved it and said it was college level writing.

I’m just wondering why he did all that.
