He was obviously right but there isn't much we can do as of right now it's not like bilions of people would just wake up and say "I want my whole life taken away so we live in a normal society without technology" People spent a lot of time and effort in their life to get where we are right now it's not like we could go back easy it just won't work

i did read his manifesto i agree but industrial revolution has good sides too so i cant say he was fully right but not fully wrong too

Keep in mind the Unabomber was preinternet, 1978 to 1995. I don't think TK appreciated that there was an entire world outside the United States, that even if he had somehow persuaded everyone in the US to stop technological development that Countries like China or Japan would continue their own technological development, and that the net effect would be maybe a decade or two delay in a hypothetical AI enslavement of the human race.
