Was there a certain event or incident in your life that made you start looksmaxxing?

Had this best friend and we where really close and had been friends for a long time, but then I moved schools. I started seeing posts with him in it and he looks really good while I was starting to get fat. Then one day I met a mutual friend of ours and I didn't think much of it until my friend texted me "why did (mutual friend) say your fat now?" Bruh I just started crying cause it was so brutal but I just replied with "idk".
