My good classmate started distancing himself and his friends from me after I started talking to this girl in my class. I asked him multiple times why he was doing it, but he just told me I was making shit up and that the distancing wasn’t even happening. I talked to this girl all summer and really liked her, but as soon as school started, everything fell apart. For some reason, he made up some shit about me and put all the blame on me, which made her dislike me. Turns out he didn’t want me to be friends with her, so he did all of this just to make her hate me. Is that a fucked up thing to do?
