Was this normie rude or did i act too entitled?

I had just come back from the supermarket and I was chilling at the couch of the first floor of my apartment. I was just sitting down with my groceries on the floor next to me, I was about to stand up to go wait for the elevator when I noticed someone walking out and I knew the elevator door was about to close and that i didn't have enough time to grab all my groceries so i ran to the elevator and put my leg in to prevent the door from closing, then I told the guy inside that i was just gonna run back to get my stuff and that it'd take less than 20 seconds. I got my stuff and it must've been 10-15 seconds, the door closed on my face. He didn't wait even 10 seconds.

What an absolute asshole. Or was I the entitled one?

Why should he wait for you?

Thats the point, he didnt have to do it, but it was such a simple favor that costed him 15 seconds of his life… why not?
