Yes I've been thinking about this alot,should make a serious thread about it soon, the freedom to choose one's partner has existed for decades ofc but before, you just took the neighbors Joe , as the options especially in the smaller cities, were very limited. Then you got married at 20 and fulfilled traditional gender roles for the rest of your life, because you didn't know anything else. Nowadays everyone has social media and foids can choose from unlimited potential partners, around the world even, and as a result, people's appearance and value criteria have risen considerably, which accounts for the existence of many things like misogyny, incels and the whole blackpill itself
