In the past, I always told myself that even if I didn't have many friends irl, at least I'll have my 'indirect friends' e.g. the personalities on Youtube, RedLetterMedia, Vinesauce Vinny/Joel, Angry Joe, Ross from Accursed farms, etc. "We'll be streaming until the day they die" I thought. That's what I thought about 10-15 years ago.

But now as a 35 year old man nearly a decade and a half later, I'm starting to notice that many of these guys, despite still being 'active' are just a shadow of their former selves.

For example, this is Rich Evans from Red Letter Media, who traditionally used to be the 'energetic funny guy' on the team:

Evans

He just looks old and tired. Like he doesn't even want to be there.

I've noticed similar trends among various streamers. If you check out the streams from Vinny and Joel (Vincesouce) from 8-12 years ago, they were always so full of energy, happy, laughing at all the weird shit they came across, etc. But now? It's like they're just half-heartily doing a job or something. Even ignoring the fact that there's not really anything that can surprise them anymore, they just simply do not have the energy or drive from their younger years. I do wonder how much of this is purely aging, and how much is depression because they feel they 'wasted' their lives streaming video games and other dumb content.

It just serves as brutal reminder of how this "Age is just a number" bullshit is absolute cope. No it fucking isn't. These guys are doing a job that doesn't even require hard manual work and they still look like shit and increasingly unable to 'perform'. Furthermore, let's be real: Most young people don't want to watch a 45+ year old man play fucking video games. The demographic mismatch is just too strong.

Maybe if they just retained their semen better and stared at the sun they could have stayed young forever

Most of them are hyper-sedentary slobs who eat horrific goyslop all day. It's no surprise they look like shit and are lethargic.

Vinesauce Vinny aged pretty well IMO. He was even black pilled enough to get a transplant for his receding Italian hairline.
Pov meeting vinny at tmg 2025 v0 k3ozu4yz5zbf1

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he uses tret or taz.

good point(y) used to be back in sane times then that most 45 year old men had kids of their own/played video games WITH their children instead of talking on pointless podcasts. But thanks to women's rights now family life is just not on the table! Hobbies are surrogate activities and mostly a waste of time! Most hobbies are for children or to for really old people to pass the time in nursing homes (knitting/light nonsense like that). Middle aged men are not supposed to have "hobbies". They are supposed to be taking their kids to soccer practice!
