I agree. Gore is pointless and unstimulating. I would assume that very few actually watch it and derive any type of satisfaction. Gore is more so an online instrument for displaying how cool / edgy one is.

you shouldn't watch gore to get stimulated by it or enjoy it, but just to get used to violence and blood so you become hardened for extreme situation like war or a fight. remember that it's just part of the human nature, doctors and nurses have to see this shit everyday and even for children in the medieval age it was just common to see people die by war, hunger, diseases or whatever.
