A Water Guide: Why You Should Usually Take Vitamins in the Morning
1. The most important reason is that vitamins can disrupt your sleep
Several vitamins can increase energy levels or stimulate metabolism:
B vitamins (B6, B12, B-complex) and Vitamins A D, E and K will especially make it harder for you to fall asleep. I've known multiple people who have had raging insomnia for years just because they decide to take B6 or even vitamin D at night.
2. Daytime is when your body uses most nutrients
Obviously during the day, enzymes are in higher demand, and the activity of the enzymes is higher so morning dosing will most likely sync more effectively with your metabolsim.
