Last night while I was doing some back end maintenance, the MySQL server started messing up. I tried to restart it, but it wouldn't work so I had to kill the process, which left me with a big mess. I was able to fix the database with little issue, but since the database is so big, it took a really long time to reimport everything. We lost about 3 hours worth of data, from around 3PM to 6PM CST threads, posts, and everything else was lost during that time period.
While the server was offline, I did take a good look over at IncelTears, while they prematurely celebrated the loss of the site, so that was good entertainment.
