My face looks soooooooo much more compact in the mirror. My midface doesn't look that long in the mirror. The proportion of my face looks normal in the mirror.

In pics, my face looks so long, my midface is just ridiculous.
Also in pics I have negative canthal tilt...
I never realized I had negative canthal tilt simply because I always looked into the mirror and never took pics. In the mirror it looks like I have neutral CT.

mirror is more accurate, but we tend to not notice our facial flaws as much in the mirror cause we see our mirror image everyday.

Mirrors are most accurate for frontal and cameras are most accurate for profile. Best method is what @Afrikancel said though, because our brains delude us into thinking we are more attractive than what we are.

the mirror isn't frauding you just because you look better in the mirror. mirror is definitely more accurate than front camera and probably rear too. there's just less opportunity for distortion.

Phone cameras in general aren't very accurate, when you hold them horizontally they compress your face and when you hold them vertically they elongate it.
