I've been to Antioch. Weird place. There's a huge immigrant population, mostly Hispanics (less Mexican than you might expect - lots of Hondurans and other Hispanics), many middle easterners (there is a huge mosque there and numerous billboards in Arabic), also many Africans (east, West, North-there is/was even a nightclub that seemed to be mostly horn Africans). There's also a large native black population. Oddly, white people seemed to be the poorest demographic there. Most non-homeless whites seemed to work menial jobs and there were lots of homeless 20something white kids begging everywhere.
