Statistically speaking you most likely don't even have one person in your friends or family who is underweight. That "skinny" person you know is very likely at a normal weight but we've become desensitized to fatness. There's hysteria regarding anorexia & eating disorders when obesity is the most common & deadly eating disorder. Look at how much uglier people are today facially compared to the 1950's-1980's, of course modern orthodontics have made some people have issues with their teeth & jaw but the biggest difference is how much fatter everyone is.
