I always see celebrities like elon musk and bill gates get behind the simulation theory. it makes sense for them. worlds first trillionaire, jackass trying to destroy humanity... Future civilizations could have a use simulating their life. But then i see most of the people that believe this theory are just people that go to work, go home, play videogames, and jack off. and that's all they'll ever do for the next 60 years, then they'll die. What would anyone possibly gain out of simulating these people's lives? i imagine it takes resources, and would be 1000% not worth the investment to simulate 99.9% of people
